I get asked all the time: “What is my home’s value?”
The easiest answer is: “Value is whatever a buyer is willing to spend!”
Of course appraisers take into account bedroom count, bathroom count, square footage, and location… They even look at comps in the area… But, when it comes right down to it, value is dictated by the buyer.
