Do you have own a home or have plans to in the near future? Perhaps you’re underwater on your home and need options, such as a short sale. Toni Patillo is here to help you learn everything you need to know about buying and selling real estate, as well as short sale and foreclosure information.
Today our guest co-host is Kennon Earl with HGTV Selling LA. He’s been in the real estate and short sale business a long time as both a buyer’s and seller’s agent; primarily, though, he’s been a seller’s agent for many years but that has changed a bit this year because there aren’t as many homes on the market. When people come on my show they are my actual clients; there’s a benefit to actually being on the show and that is that it gives them a great opportunity to advertise their property. This helps quite a bit actually.
We are on the same page with regards to understanding the importance of presentation, branding, credibility and integrity; building that foundation within the real estate and short sale world. In our business, it’s important to build your reputation and part of that is building the relationship with the individual that you’re working with. Even a few years ago there were a plethora of agents that were doing business that were fantastic even though they haven’t done a lot of business; when you encountered them it was more difficult because you had to teach them and guide them through the process to get the real estate transaction done. Now, on the other hand, we have agents that weathered the storm through tough periods that know how to work. What happens is that all of those relationships are the most important things and I find that I get deals done just based on relationships that have happened because I’ve been engaged with them and have integrity with them. This is one of the most important things as a real estate and short sale agent.
We want to remind you that we’re here every Saturday at 3pm where we’re committed to bringing you real estate and short sale tools to bring you positive change. You can also check out our website or reach out to our off-air phone line.
